I mean, ok, he's had a rough go of it, I understand that. But can't you do something with your hair? Don't you have the money to fix your teeth? Are those the nicest clothes the guy could find for the night?

He just looks like someone I'd expect to see collecting aluminum cans along the side of the road in between asking passerby's for a buck.

I just checked out the Van Halen website, and the band pic has Sammy in it. So I checked out Sammy's website, and it says nothing about Van Halen. WTF?

I will say this once more:  DLR has a better body than anyone I know!  Most people don't look 1/2 that fit when they're in their mid-20's!  Aside from Roger Daltrey, who was mentioned previously, and who is one of my favorite rockstars of all time to look at , he is in the best of shape!

I'm sorry LS, I'm a face person, male or female, that's what I notice first.

Anyone can work hard and keep the body in good shape (certainly not me mind you ) but the face tells the story.

DLR shows 20+ plus years of living the wild life. That face is at least 10 years older than it should be.

Now that's the Eddie I remember.

You know, I have an uncle that looks JUST LIKE that picture (in the face). He looked like Eddie in 1986, and he looks sooooooooo much more like 86 today still than Eddie does.

Whenever I'm at a family get together and my uncle smiles I'm always struck by the similarities in their faces.

If my uncle can play guitar maybe he could replace Eddie in the group!

None of the Stones count. Those boys were STARTING from ugly.

Not one of them was what I think most people would consider "good looking", in fact, I don't even know if they qualified as average. Mick always had that weird face, Keith is just a one of a kind mug if ever there was one....

I think he looks like an old old man, easily into his 50's, possibly early 60's.

He looks BAD man. But I'm just going on stuff I saw a year ago when he hosted a weekend special on VH1. He was staying well hidden under a big straw hat for that, but when I did get glimpses it looked like a road map under there.

I'm sure publicity photos look a lot better, you know, with the lighting and the makeup.

I saw him about a year or so ago - front row - in a club.  He was literally less than 5 feet away from me for that whole performance, and on the occasion when I could pull my gaze up to his face , I thought it looked pretty good...


But alas, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so this is just throwing opinions out to each other.  I think we can pretty much all agree that getting older sucks.  And it's gotta be really tough being in the public eye, because people can be sooo unforgiving!

LS you and I have very similar tastes I believe. I think his teeth look yellow, but I do not think overall he is THAT bad.!
