I didn't sleep very well, but I survived the night. With my wife gone, the boy wanted to sleep in "mom's spot". It is really a big deal to him so I let him do it. Usually that means feet in my back all night but last night we had about 10 stuffed animals to serve as a cushion.

The boy wasn't the reason I didn't sleep well, I think I just have computers on the brain. I have to select and order a new computer for the church today. I kept going through the specs and cost/performance ratio in my head with the models I'm considering. If it was for myself, it would not be that big of a deal, but since it's the church's money, I want to make the most sensible decision. Either way, if it ever has problems, it will be my fault for ordering the one I did.

We're good. Training was a drag. The provider that is doing the budget cuts is switching the server system we use to enter our billing. I didn't understand much of it because I'm just data entry. I don't have to do the actual computing of the billing. So it was an easy day but didn't get much accomplished.

Hubby is getting around a lot better. He actually going to cook breakfast. I know that we are having bacon, fried eggs & probably toast. I'll have to see if there is anything left after we are done Fuzzy.

Yesterday Hubby did a load of laundry, put dishes away, pictures away, & straightened the computer desk some.

Definitely feeling better!

The decision is done . . . I had all night to think about it.

The order has been placed . . . Newegg.com has a deal on a nice Gateway that is cheaper than I could get it directly from Gateway. I've bought a lot of stuff from newegg.com. They are a good company.

I checked out Dell, but I get the feeling they are the "new car salesmen" of the computer world. Yes, the base system is cheap, but they put all these add-ons in there that bump up the price fast, and the addons are what most of the others put in as standard.

For example, standard shipping on the Dell was $95! The Gateway 3 day UPS was $20. Gotta watch that kind of stuff.
