Off the top of my head are 3 things:
He won a Tony award for his starring role on Broadway in "Chicago"
He was the co-star of that mystery show with Bill Cosby. Was it called Cosby Mysteries or something?
He was the dark haired astronaut in one of my all-time favorite television series, "PLanet of the Apes" which is when I first developed my crush on him.
He's also been in many commercials, and guest-starring on TV shows, as you've mentioned.
I met him a few years ago, & I must say he is still a very handsome man. I met David recently too, and he is still cute, but a little... 'puffy'.
