I hear stories all the time about people having a hard drive crash and losing thousands of songs because of no backups. It is just crazy to not have backups of data you can't afford to lose, or data that you have paid money for.

I have yet to pay for a download. I buy the CD I want and then rip the songs I want onto our portable players.

I personally have no problem with cursing in my own language. If I get really mad, I can feel some bad language working up, but its not more than I can contain. That is not a prideful statement because I have a huge list of my own faults, its jus that bad language is not one of them.

When it comes to other people cursing, it doesn't really upset me. It bothers me much more to hear someone who claims to be a Christian say one curse word than a non-Christian spouting off a whole book of it.

We try to keep bad language away from our son, but in this world, it is impossible to do that once he steps outside our house. I believe that spending time helping him understand why WE don't talk that way will be more productive than trying to fight the rest of the world's language.
