I made it before you left!


I need to get ready- little E has a well kid check up at 8:45. Then I am not sure what to do. I did not make any plans for today, BUT believe it or not- the boy brought proof he is caught up in every class!!! I will drop E off at daycare though and probably go shopping for a new spring outfit, catch a movie and then get little E and take her to the park. It will be 80 today! I need to start sunning my WHITE self!

Thats great news about your son Ruby, I'm glad you get to have a proper day off now, you enjoy yourself, I will be finished in about an hour and a half, then I am going shopping myself, unfortunately the weather is no where near 80 here!

Morning all. It is finally Friday and that is wonderful. It is a beautiful day. It is already 65 degrees and mostly sunny. Today would have been a great day to stay home, but I was in charge of breakfast today so I had to be here.

Hey y'all.

Chance of rain today, but sunny and 35 now.

Our sitter has a Dr. appointment today so I'm home with the boy and we are snuggled in here watching "Dragon Tales" right at the moment.

Today is my dad's 65th birthday and he has to go to a bigger town 2 hrs away for an eye appointment. He has had diabetes for quite a few years, but now has a litle bleeding in the back of his eyes. He didn't know for sure if they are going to do the laser thing today, or just a consultation. I hope they can do it all today and get it done at one time.

Morning all.  It's 46 and partly cloudy here today, supposed to be a high of near 60.  This day started off AWESOME... bonus day and all.  By time I left for work, it seems Phil the Prince of Insufficient Lighting had decided to poke me with his spork. My day didn't necessarily go to he!!, just more like to heck. I forgot my keyless code to my truck after I already locked the keys in it to warm it up. Fortunately, the window was semi-open so I could get a long screwdriver down in there to hit the unlock button.  


Got half way to work before I remembered that I forgot to put my laptop bag in my Explorer (drove my ohter truck yesterday), so I had to turn around and go back to get that. Then I get about a mile away from home and am struck with the nagging certainty that I left the garage door open, so I went back to check that, all of which was going to make me late for a meeting.  I called Pambo and asked her to send a message to the guy I was supposed to meet with to tell them I'd be late, and to give her a good laugh at my expense.  She did in fact laugh at me, but confided she is having a wardrobe malfuntion that is causing her some issues today... button in the midst of her shirt keeps popping open. So, about that time I'm driving by the house and I can see that yes in fact I did close the garage door. On to work I go. I get here, 15 minutes late for my meeting, and as I'm walking in I suddenly remember my keyless code!


Yep... it's one of those days.

TGIF All!


I'm sitting in my daughters dorm room waiting for her to get done packing.  She had things ready but like a typical teen didn't have anything packed.  Gotta love her anyway.  The trip down was nice and uneventful.  Cloudy but no rain and not too cold.


Mema - sounds like you'll be glad for the weekend!


I didn't get a chance to read any other posts - hope all is well for everyone.  See you on Monday!
