This Sunday! On Jazz 101!

This Sunday on Jazz 101, I am going to feature another round of songs that made me love jazz! Songs that have made my life better for hearing them! (And I am POSITIVE many many other people too!)

Expect to hear tracks from Horace Silver, D.D. Jackson, Gene Harris, Herbie Hancock, Miles Davis, Les McCann, Art Blakey, Charlie Parker, Rosemary Clooney, Ray Charles, Stanley Clark, Benny Goodman, Stan Getz, Thelonious Monk........and  then expect an encore of these artists in the second hour! LOL maybe...maybe not!

All my favorites this sunday night! If you are new to jazz, and want a no b.s. quick introduction, no filler- all substance/ mind-blowing introduction- this is the show for you. And if you are a veteran, THIS is the show you've dreamed of all them nights listening to the radio for the next musical miracle to occur. This is the reminder of the brilliance of the genre throughout time!

Hope that you will be ready with your favorite beverage, and that book that you've been meaning to read or write. Drop off the face of the planet for awhile for some high-octane quality YOU time, but TUNE IN here for the soundtrack!!!

Mark my words, I am going OFF this Sunday with the greatness of Jazz!! Right here on Freeze Frame Radio!

thanks thump! I hope you can be too! Sooo many people think you are not supposed to dance to jazz; it is not to be interpreted dance-wise. Horse-pucky. I'll show 'em!
