New CBS "Rock Star"

Had anyone else heard the rumor that Van Halen was going to be the next Band looking for a singer on CBS Rock Star?  I was all pumped about it. 


Now... on the front page of USA Today's Life section it says that it's coming back with summer again with Brooke Burke and Dave Navarro, but they're looking for a singer for the newly formed band made up of Tommy Lee, Mateallica bassist Jason Newsted, and Guns-n-Roses guitarist Gilby Clarke! 


Am I the last to hear about this?  I must say I'm quite intrigued and looking forward to the competition.  I thought the INXS Rock Star show was a big success as you can tell from my constant requests.

I know - I can't wait - I love Gilby Clarke and Butch Walker.  This could be very cool indeed!

I had heard the Van Halen rumor....but I am kinda glad they didn't do it.

yea, people didn't embrace Van Halen III,  I think if they ever get back together, it'll be with Hagar (again) or Roth.    INXS were different, Hutchense didn't leave, he died.
