Good Mornoon, 19 degrees and we have had 5 to 6 more inches of snow. I have to leave early because the news said there are 5 and 6 ft drifts in some spots. It you don't hear from me in a couple of hours send out the search hounds.

Good day to everyone!


Well, the guard did great and got 15th place (out of 32 schools - 20 went to State finals).  Pretty good considering only a few weeks ago they bumped up a class to be eligible for State.  I had the flu all weekend so wasn't able to go down to Indy area to watch the performance.


Supposed to be cold again - not at all like spring!

good morning all!


34 degrees in brewtown! feels that more than a few of us are getting cheated out of a first nice day of spring! I suppose that's all relative tho, we don't have the snow storms up here at least.

Morning all.


Just like everyone else, it is not too Spring-like around here and it won't be anytime soon. Only 45 degrees today, maybe around the normal of 50 by the end of the week.


Now, I must finish reading all the stupid e-mail from stupid people in CA that I received while I was out on Friday. They have already ticked me off. Stupid people.

YAY!  i am so friggin happy to be back to work today!  rain all weekend long (which is good for the area), which means rained in with three kids all weekend! watched movies all weekend.  i did finally get to watch the fearless freaks, which i thought was a very good documentary on the flaming lips.  anyhow, it's still raining!  i heard dallas got 9 inches of rain this weekend!  i'd rather have the rain than the snow --  i feel for you sparky!  hope everyone has a fantastic day!

Monday, Schmonday.

All the schools are closed in the area that our local radio station covers.

I got Mrs Web to work in the 4wd, dropped the boy off at the sitter (he's the only one there today). I wouldn't be surprised if Mrs Web calls me to come get her because they are shutting down at the bank.

I got to the shop and "blew" another layer of snow off. This stuff is so wet and heavy that it will not blow hardly at all.

In a way, it is good that it is such a wet snow because we need the moisture. Its really bad for all those guys like my dad and brother trying to save baby calves that are being born right now. The problem with this kind of storm is that the livestock is cold and wet. If it is colder, their hair will freeze over and create a little insulation for them, but this kind of stuff, just keeps them wet.

In a few days, it will warm back up and this will all be gone again.

Mrs Web just called and they are closing down the bank at noon. So, I'll go get the boy, pick up her, and we'll spend the rest of the day at home and watch it snow from there.

The weather has been kind of cool here too.  Only 65 during the day.  Yesterday was awesome.  I got tickets for the Pacific Life Open and took my kids to see Federrer beat Blake.

Well come on out to the music festival we have here at the end of march, as well as the Nabisco Dinah Shore women's tourney.  I am lucky with that one, it is hosted at the resort in which I am working.  I plan on going star gazing.

We have about 40 now. Spring break in CA. Sounds better than her. Sounds 10x better than what Web and Sparky are dealing with. And I wouldn't want to be hanging with JR, JD or Dylan either. I don't think Molly, Mz, Woo Hoo or Ray have good weather either. Ruby may have the best weather though.


The tournament sounds nice. It is okay to gaze, just don't get caught staring.
