Stormy Weather

We had a strong and fast moving storm move through last night around 8:00pm. So I took out the camera and decided to get some shots of the storm. This was the best one. With a digital camera the delay makes it difficult to get a good picture since lightning is so quick. I took around 100 pics and got 7 with lightning. This was the best one.....

Maybe we can get Web to fly one of his kites in a storm and get some birds-eye storm
pictures?

Here are a few more.....

Cool pics, Ray! It was a pretty awesome storm last night. Did you see how it went through Seymor? I'm surprised I haven't heard anything about it, it had to have messed up at least one trailer.

Very good pics Ray.

I tried to catch some lightening with the camera last summer and didn't have great results. The best one I got was this one:

Yours turned out great!

Try setting the camera up on a tripod or even a shelf and then setting the shutter to stay open for 5 seconds or so per shot. You get some creepy looking night-time storm photo's that way!
