I knew I would here from you.


First - bite me. There are 161 other games this season.


Second - the runs the Phillies did manage to score yesterday would have won many other games in both leagues.


Third - who knew that the new guy who came in to relieve the bad starter would suck so bad.


Fourth - it was not pretty sitting there watching it either.


Fifth - I was happy for your Brewers.


Sixth - The Phillies have one of the worst opening day records in MLB. What did you expect?


Seventh - The Cardinals are an offensive powerhouse. All you can do is hope to contain them. The Phillies only contained two out of four guys. Although those two made up for the others.


Eight - Come a little closer. I need to take out some aggression.

You're right Fuzzy, it's a long season. Or, if you're a Phillies fan, an EXTREMELY long season

I'm just kidding. I'm sure you guys will do alright. Getting the Cards for your opening series of the year is a tough break, but it will make all the other opponents seem easier.

You're not expecting Wild Card this year?

You were in the thick of it last year, I would think you should have some confidence this year.

I know the Mets got better, but they ALWAYS get better and never seem to improve regardless.

Duh!


We have a great offensive team, solid defense but lousy pitching. We shall see. It depends how the young guys do. Plus our true #1 is due back in July.


My original thoughts were shoot for 100 wins and maybe they can have 90. That should be good for a playoff spot.


The Phillies generally have a lousy April and last year it cost them. I hope they can shake it this year.
