The tour has begun. My first stop was in Las Vegas. I will eventually start a page devoted just to these photo's, but for now I thought I'd post them in the thread.
I started my trip by flying out to wonderful Las Vegas. It was a long flight, and those ba**ards at Funjet insisted I stay in the cargo hold. But it was all worth it to get away from the Jazz Doctor for a little while.
As you can see from the photo, I travel light, with only the flippers on my back (well, side)
I had a great week in Las Vegas, although I didn't get to play any slots or cards because all the stools were too high for me. Apparantly they also have a minimum age for gambling in Vegas, and despite the fact I had my ID with me they refused to beleive I was 38 years old.
On the way out of town I stopped at Hoover dam. I was immediately disappointed to find out it wasn't frozen over. A local that was selling shirts nearby informed me it never freezes over. What a joke! What's the point? It was nice to see, but I doubt I'll be going back!
Once the photo's were taken I spent three days at the Henderson, Nevada Memorial Hospital. I underwent an elective surgery to have that mysterious hand removed from my butt.
I'm all recouperated and feeling good (not to mention lighter).
With that, I'm hitting the road again. The question is, where will I be going next? Anybody? I can tell you this much, I would SURE love a good cook-out right about now!
