Simple question!


 


I am wearing a light purple shirt with a dark/light purple flowery skirt. I also have on purple flip flops. Kinda sounds like Barney!

Pretty much, sometimes I wear khaki pants. I dressed nicer when the had me in the main office, but I wasn't asked to. Some days I wondered why I dressed nicer when I look at my supervisor with her wet hairdo!

Today I'm sporting all black for Thursday. (April is Sexual Assualt Awareness Month, and several IU organizations started Thursdays in Black. "Wearing black is a statement of solidarity with women who have experienced sexual and physical violence, and a protest demanding a world without rape and violence.")

So, specifically, I'm wearing a black button down 3/4 sleeve shirt, black brocade slacks, and black sandals. I'm wearing jewelry designed by Liquid Braino Creations (Mz's hubby), which is an aqua beaded necklace with wine glass charms and a heart center charm with a ruby in the middle, the earrings match the center charm, and the bracelet is also aqua beads with charms of grape bunches. On my other wrist I'm wearing my italian charm bracelet and organ donation awareness wristband. I'm also wearing my wedding ring, engagement ring, and a dolphin ring that my mom gave me. And my bra is nude colored, and panties are red. Am I missing anything?

And a fashion tip for anyone who might be heavy on top: Most of my button down shirts fit everywhere except across the bust, so I put a peice of duct tape behind the buttons to hold the fabric together. Works like a charm.

Ok but the shock started at your panty comment!LOL!


Ok I will add that I have white socks on and am wearing small silver hoop earrings. 1 set has rhinestones in them. But that is as far as I am going! Oh and a studded black belt.

I do not watch that show, but I know with Carter on "ER" or Mulder on "X-Files", it was a joyous thing to see them out of the shirt & tie look.

It's like having a leash around your neck for 8 hours, It takes at least an hour for my neck to realize there is nothing around it anymore at home.


It's funny how the stuffy people in suits in this town will act like your best friend just because you are wearing a suit. It's kind of like a secret handshake or something.

Today I am in a blue polo shirt and dark slacks and shoes. Usually I'd be in jeans, but I had to run out to a client site today. I was also sporting my leather coat and shades today!

Yes, I shave every other Wednesday so the fuzz is starting its growth over. If it gets too long, it just tends to hang there and not puff out as nice.

Anyway...here goes...navy blue sweater w/thin grey stripes.  I think it's GAP.  T-Shirt, jeans and hiking sneakers...I really dress it up for work...LOL!


JD...I loved the Calvin's joke.  Remember the controversy?  Brooke Shields was, like, 17 which I think made her an older woman to me at the time!  I guess that was kinda risque.

Over my fuzz, I went with the white underwear combo, jeans, white socks, sneakers and a peach top. I decided not to dress for work today. It really has become a jeans thing for some around here lately. I usually do jeans two days (Friday and one other) a week. No bosses, no customers, no bigwigs around make it possible. When the weather is nicer and there is no one here, I may do the shorts thing.
