I still have all of my toys from when I was a kid, My parents basement is still full of the stuff. They vowed to never throw any of it away because that's what their parents did to them. I still have cases of Hot Wheels and matchbox cars. They are sitting right next to the five gallon bucket of legos.

I've got some porcelain dolls that my ex-stepmom gave to me that have been in their boxes for years. I don't think they're worth much, I don't think they are any name brands, but if anyone here likes porcelain dolls, I'd be willing to sell them super cheap. I never liked them and they're just taking up closet space.
I wish I would've kept my Matchbox and Hot Wheels collections, though. I had some pretty cool cars, and I think I'd still play with them now!
Porcelin dolls scare the crap out of me. I will not even sleep in the same house as one. Seriously.
And you've reminded me - I still have all of my Matchbox cars. I'm sure they're not worth much, because they've been played with a lot! But I keep them more for sentimental value, anyway...

Yeah, I hate porcelain dolls too. It just proves how much my dad's ex-wife didn't get to know me. Everyone else, including my dad, knew I liked cars instead of dolls. Even my grandma gave in and new I wasn't going to be a girly girl and bought me cars.
I never really had toys that I played with. I am a book person. Always have been. The first doll I had was when I was 11. I asked for the Family Tree House for Christmas. I LOVED that thing.

ME TOO! I still have it. I remember playing with it, but quickly putting it aside the night "Sooner Or Later" first aired. Still one of my all-time favorite movies...

In addition to the shot glasses and crapulence (I have the wooden surfer dude on to of my monitor and a chain of wooden monkeys hanging from an overhead credenza) I also have a tendency to collect cookware. Don't ask me why... I just feel compelled to have tons of it. And dishes... I have at least 5 full sets of dishes. Even I think I'm out of hand with that, but for some reason the hubby is okay with it. He even talked me into buying another small set last weekend at Costco. 4 little square dinner plates with matching soup bowls and tall mugs.

Well, if we need to go anywhere for a fancy dinner, we are going to Mema's because she has enough dishes to take care of all of us.
I dunno about fancy, but come on along... plenty of dishes for sure. Seems I don't know how to cook in small quantities either so there is always plenty of food when I cook!
