We may gain another listener/forum member. My coworker/friend that is out on workman's comp called me and is bored out of her mind! She enjoyed listening to FFR with me so I reminded her about it. I also told her about the forum because I trust her not to rat me out. I said that we could keep in touch that way. She said that she was going to check it out. I told her to call me if she had any trouble with it.

Been trying to come with some ideas. Thought I would share my thoughts. Might be nothing but could lead to someone else's idea. I know we have printed up the pens. I have no idea how much they cost, but something else that people might use are toothpicks. I would have said matchbooks but smoking has gone down. Toothpick boxes could be left out and people would see them when they went to use them. A little lame, but was a thought.

Can we exchange online advertising with anyone? I know we have announced on air those who have allowed the stations signs in their place of business, but could we expand? Are there any websites out there where we could place their banner on our main page in exchange for them doing the same? It could at least increase internet traffic to the station.

Also just a question, if any of us want to print up something other than the flyer to distribute, would that be okay? I'm not ready to do that right now, but was just wondering.

some very good ideas here woohoo- thanks for taking the time! I sure am going to explore the banner ad exchange idea- I think Riggs had contemplated this too. And as far as advertising in your own way, your own ads or way of letting anyone know- ALL FOR IT!! and thank you!!

Got this idea from MZ's and  Ruby's pics.

We all go to a Nascar pre -race show armed to the teeth with little JR's that have a dollar bill taped to them , a boom box , 6 cream  pies( made by Thumper  ) ( of course ) and about $4500.00 in cash

Then , when they bring on ..say Kyle Petty  and he starts to talk about  the Victory Junction Camp we all lob our JR's onto the stage ( cept me and JD and Ray , we'll aim for Kyle's head ) and when Jimmy Spencer says " what the heck was that about ? " CP  yells " it's  a donation from FFR , ya bee-atch !   Then we hit play on the boombox , put the FFR girls  on the stage and they start dancing , then when Security tries to stop them we let 'em have it with the pies.  Then we turn Little A n E ( hey , thats kinda neat ) loose .  Pandamonium ensues !

Oh, the 45 hundred ?  bail money...

I love it Dave, except the part about dancing, I don't dance. Unless the hokey pokey counts.

I blogged for advertising, everyone put out a blog on your myspace site. I used the mainpage to avoid any unwanted (get me busted at work) people from seeing the forum.

Here's an idea.

FFR could sponsor a lap during the Indianapolis 500. Your name is in the program and you get one or two badges for the pits and the garages for the month.
I believe the cost is only $500. I think you can pick the lap and the position to whom the money goes.

Example: The money goes to the car in 11th place on lap 86.

I know it's a lot for the little station that could but I'd throw in $20 or so for the cause.

Actually, that is a good idea. We've got a year to gather the money. I'd pitch in!

This weekend, I got rid of nearly 40 flyers at the big Chiller Theater Convention I was telling you guys about.  We'll see if anything happens from that...

Put a couple up on the grocery store's bulleton board last week too.  I recommend everyone try & hit their local store or post office's bulletin board.  It couldn't hurt..
