 A very small town called Welcome. It is in the very center of the state. I am near a lot of the bigger cities, but with a country setting. More peaceful out here.smile

It is such a lovely state - I gt a chance to see a bit when I did a dealer visit there last year. Gorgeous, peaceful scenery where I was at, though I can't remember the name f the town.

It was Gastonia, nt terribly far from Charlotte I think.

Yes, I know exactly where that is. It is about 45 minutes from where I live now.

Hi Everyone- Hi Firefly- nice to meet you.  You're from NC?  I flew in once to Raleigh, drove to the Outer Banks and didn't want to come back!  I loved it.  We stayed in Buxton...took a ferry to Ocracoke...I love NC!

Hi! I have been to Buxton before. The Outer Banks are beautiful. I love it there. Raleigh is about 2 hours east of here. Glad you came to visit and it's nice to meet you too!smile

She lives a few miles away, w/ 2 roomates,so she's been out of the house a few months now. I'll always miss her whether she is 10 mins away or 3000 miles away,.

I fell in love with the blue hydrangeas that I saw on the ride out from Raleigh. Have you ever been to Chicago?  That's where I'm from....if not, you need to get up here sometime.
