Maybe it was not meant to be.

When we were househunting we bid on one and were accepted then they changed their mind and did not sell...after the initial disappointment we ended up doing better in some ways and i feel so at home in our new house.

sadlly pip this was the better off option..it was about 30k under market value. hmm.gif it needed carpet and paint but otherwise in perfect condition.

I missed everyone too! 

LOL...it's time to Hug the Australian Day!!!  It's the 26th April!!!  biggrin

I had a really busy day yesterday!  I worked on the holiday so kept myself busy.  It really is our busiest day of the year in Australia.  It is the Rememberance Day for fallen soliders and there are massive celebrations and services here so have been kept on our toes!

As for me...lol...I hid away because the Navy are in town and are on the hunt so I have just been working and hiding away in my bungalow! biggrin

I was watching our breakfast program here and we have a Hollywood Talkback with Nelson Aspen segment and he has been busy showing the Americans hugging Aussies over there in the US!!

Hey Jules....haha, it's ok, sometimes I forget to give a shout out too.  I'm doing ok, just got home a little while ago from my daughter's art show for school.  Man some of those kids are really, really good!!  Wish I had some of their talent, ha.

Jules, when she brings it all home I'll try scanning some and if that doesn't work, I'll take some pics and send them to you in a p.m.  Thanks for asking to see it.....very cool of you to do so!  smile

Glad you could hide out from them..... my brother used to be a sailor and some of the stories I've heard him tell, well let's just say I'm ashamed of him sometimes......he was raised better.  At least you can venture back into town now and don't have to worry about them.  smile

So when is your next gig?  Is it kind of a weekly thing you guys do?
