I'm full . . . just finished up some food. Watching a little "American Chopper" then gonna start practicing for Sunday.
Web, can you put up a link or something again for your music you play on Sundays.......I know I saw one a while ago but don't remember where I saw it at. I'd like to listen in if it's possible.
I'm not judging all sailors Mz.....hope I didn't give that impression. My brother has always been on the wild side and some of the things he tells me about I'd rather not know.
Oh no, that's not what I'm saying at all! My husband was probably just as bad! But, I married him anyway, I guess I'm just nuts like that.
I should've said ex-sailor. And Jules, you probably lucked out. He's still mad he never got to go to Australia. Their ship was headed there when they were summoned to the Persian Gulf (for the first war).
Wonder if they were on the same ship?? I know my brother was there at the same time, but right now I can't think of the name of the ship he was on. I know he's always been on the aircraft carriers......he was hydraullic maintence on F-14 Tomcats, then later on the F-16's.
Well hi everybody! After spending the weekend moving and being without internet for that long, I think I was experiencing FFR withdrawls...missed you all!

Kinda. i have a few small things to move yet. I feel like a transient box lady, but I'm getting there! Oh, the best part is yesterday I bought a new couch and it will soon become the best thing in my entire apartment! A Berkline reclining foot and back microsuede....Oh how lovely it will be to melt into that couch after a long day at work!

A few years ago when things were going well for me with the biz I went room by room through my house and bought quality furniture. Before that all I had was the typical bachelor pad fiberboard crap.
When I got around to the living room I bought a couple leather recliners and a niiiiiiiiice big poofy leather couch. OMG. It's like sleeping on a cloud! Naps suddenly because a daily requirement
Are you getting it right away or do you have to wait a couple weeks for delivery? I gave all my old furniture away before finding out it was six weeks before the stuff would be delivered

Oh my dad is picking the sofa up tomorrow (hopefully) and bringing it over. It will be heavenly! I know what you mean - when I started looking at moving, I started to examine my furniture and just asked myself, "why keep this if I don't like or want it?" I love the feeling of purging those things that have outlived their usefulness.
