My wife works in a bank and worked with a young guy trying to help him qualify for a vehicle loan. This guy just HAD to have a huge Dodge full size, extend cab, 4x4 with the biggest engine they make. Couldn't live without it. Needed it "for work".

His grandparents helped him get enough money down to get the loan, he found the truck he "needed" and he was on cloud nine. That was only about four months ago.

My wife said that the "big truck guy" was back in and talking to her about how he wan'ts to sell the truck now and get a car that he can afford to drive. LOL

My car's pretty good on gas mileage, but if I had the money, I'd sell my car and buy a small to mid size truck and a motorcycle. A truck is handy to have around, but a motorcycle gets excellent gas mileage. It would be having my cake and eating it too. Unfortunately, I don't even own my car yet!

Hubby had a motorcycle but we sold it because it was a crotch rocket which it hurt me to ride with him. I bet I could do it now.


I wish we had the money to get the bike hubby wants for the 2 of us.

  JD- the Pres. doesn't dictate the price of oil , and short of federlizing the oil industry there is very little if anything he can do about it.


  Heres a little something extra for ya . I predict you will see $5.00  a gallon before years end.


   I'd bet money on it . Any takers ?

I think it was $2.86 at the gas station by my house this morning.  Seems like it was cheaper when I drove by last night... something like $2.78. I should have stopped, but it was about 12:30 AM and I just didn't feel like it.

   Was watching some news type show this weekend , a big time ananalist said the same thing I did last week . ( and we both had the same reasoning ) ( gotta luv a guy making 6 figures  by watching the news , scratching his butt and thinking " gee , this don't look good , I believe the price of gas will go up." )
