I think we have had this discussion before, but I do believe that most of the forum appreciates that he is talented. I love his Christmas special when he took requests right off the phone! He was amazing off the cuff!

Music is subjective...thats the toughest thing I face is realizing not everyone is gonna like the songs I write and the way I play them...

I do appreciate and respect Barry's talent. He has written way more songs than most people know about, including several popular commerical jingles. He not only writes the songs that make the whole world sing, he does a lot of the songs that one is frequently embarrassed to admit that they actually like.  I mostly make Barry jokes to crank on Pambo.  She LOVES Barry... even had a picture of him posted in her desk area.
