The I WISH/ I THINK Thread!

Here is a thread to express thoughts and dreams!

I wish we could figure out THE magical way to grow the station. Make no mistake, everyone here on the forum I consider a good dear friend. And we are SO LUCKY to have "us" here. I just wish I could do more to grow this thing, and I am stuck. The irony is is that we want NOTHING, not a DIME, just to make more folks aware of the fun here, and that we are the internet's free jukebox. That should sell itself. But we don't have the vehicle to get more eyes, at least not at the pace we've grown used to in the past. The growth part is soo fun.

I wish that more of the world could get to the table to agree to disagree. Like this whole China visit thing. Lets get to "let's agree to disagree", because factors beyond anyone's control (economies) will take place, and its best to have a meeting place open to discussion once tables are turned. And then turned again..

If I were one of these trust fund babies, I'd grill out all the time. have season brewers tickets. I'd be at the station all the time, and my job would be here. I'd have a mansion, and yet not appreciate the difference between that and this. and be annoyed that there is so much more space to have cleaned. Be annoyed at having more space to not ever use. But I would own the sunrise. The sunrise would be mine. In fact, it is all of ours, but work fatigue kills beauty, like owning the sunrise, living to write a poem, all the good things have to be contained outside of the 40 or so prime hours that work cuts out of life each week.

I wish I knew why Harley Riders pay so much for chrome mufflers. They clearly have no idea how to get them to work properly.

I wish me and hubby could get out of debt and afford to buy a house. I want to get rid of our 2nd jobs. I long for something of my own and some stability!

my thought and dream:  i wish that (this time) my husband really does finish our home.  he built it seven years ago, but we ran out of money to complete it.  now, i've borrowed from my profit sharing (again) to get er done.  i said i wouldn't hold my breath, but i find myself turning blue...

They only look like mufflers.  Loud pipes save lives... and they are darn fun to set off car alarms with.

Now... on to my acutal "I wish"... I wish Pambo didn't hurt anymore. I wish there was a way we could all just be happy.  I wish me and my hubby could get that business he's been trying to buy... and to be successful at it. I wish I had the money right now to get the siding done on my house. I surely do wish I had a new Harley.

There are now free successful programs at many hospitals to quit smoking. I wish there were free successful programs to lose weight. (I'm not a smoker who's trying to quit, I'm just making a comparison.)

One loud pipe is fine...but 600,000 at a time! Try that for a full week 24 hours a day!

I can see your point, Sparky.  Still... it's spring time. It's getting warmer outside and I'm having a severe case of bike envy. Someday... oh yes, some fine day....

I still see my former bike around town.  It makes me tear up every time.  The hubby is bent on getting another to rectify the situation.  I'm sure it will happen some day.

We went motorcycle shopping last week. No Harleys though! Hubby wants to check out how much insurance will be first before we do anything though. But I so do have bike fever! Ready to ride!

hey sparky we had harley fest parties here in milwaukee for the 95th and 100th anniversaries! I feel your pain! The windows for the place I was in shook constantly, and the main highway was a mile away!!

I wish I could co-ordinate so that similar things ran out at my house right about the same time. mouthwash & toothpaste, shampoo & conditioner, vitamins and supplements.
