too bad for you, because they were truly delicious. The only thing that would have been better is a little chocolate to dip it in.

We've got buy one get one free strawberries at both Marsh and Kroger here in town. I'm guessing it's probably a special from some big strawberry grower.

there are cetain instances where feedback just completely added to the brilliance of a guitar solo on album.

I think of the solo for The Flowers of Guatemala by R.E.M. and the solo on Red Barchetta by Rush. Powderfinger by Neil Young too...

its a learning experience for them, its good for them to recognize karma- you reap what you sew, and what doesn't kill you makes you stronger, if it doesn't kill you.....

a lot of the little kids on the block/ across the street have these little plastic battery powered go-carts and motorcycles. While totally convenient for folks to purchase as ready to go, and fun enough for the kids; what is missing is the feeling of the old-school go-cart. The "My dad is building this with an engine from an old lawn mower, an old pine-door as the base; this is how we spent the winter;& the whole 'we will need our football helmets for protection driving this thing in the alley'."

& that is the difference between the last of industrial age and the disposable age. The "I can afford the deluxe plastic brittney spears battery child plastique car" vs "me and the boy built this hot rod; when he was whipping around the sand-lot with his little brother in-tow, the engine blew and covered them in oil.  They shook it off and still love this car."

Speaking of omlettes, here's another random thought.

Eggs are the last good deal in America.

I typically pay fifty cents a dozen. MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYBE Sixty Five cents if I can't find em on sale.

To think, some poor chicken gave up her unborn child so a corporation could make about .04 on it.

Actually, if you're interested in knowing the ugly truth... the Department of Agriculture deems it perfectly OK & legal to starve a chicken for up to (I believe it's 14) days. The reason? Because after she goes that long without any food or water, her little body goes into shock, at which point, she's forced into a "molt." Forced molting shocks her system into a new laying cycle prematurely. A wonderful cruel way to get more eggs more quickly with no regard whatsoever for the animal. Factory farming is Disgusting!

When we speak of Murphy's law, we're usually not talking about a law that Dylan Murphy has written.

You're depressing me Lady Strange

I can't give up my egg-white omlettes for breakfast, I just can't. But now I'm gonna feel guilty everytime I eat one.

I suppose I COULD pay $3.00 a dozen for the organic eggs, which I assume are farm raised and treated better, but man, the way I go through eggs that would be expensive

At least before I was able to claim ignorance. You took my ignorance away LS!!!!!

Mwa-ha-ha! I know, I used ot think ignorance was bliss. But although depressing, I feel like I can't do anything about the wrongs in this world, unless I know what's what.

Still, I promise never to get into evil politics on this Forum!

Minute Maid Light Orange Juice with 50% less calories SUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCKS

I paid a premium price for what is nothing more than a carton of watered down Orange Juice!

I could have bought one REGULAR container at a lower price, added 50% water and wound up with two of these overpriced bland juices

to scale, a weed must seem like a tree to an insect. So a tree must be like a  mountain to an insect. And a mountain must seem like a universe to an insect. Are there flys on top of Mt Kilamanjaro?
