if we'da known that THE MAN was gonna take us out, we wouldn't have had take out; but either way, it was delicious. sapulpa is not a big town and doesn't have any "great" places to eat with tulsa being so close, but if you are in sapulpa (you're probably just passing through), freddies is THE place to eat. i don't understand it either. their bbq sauce isn't the best i've had, but that place is ALWAYS packed -- lunch or dinner! i love the tabouly and the humus dip. oh, can't forget the cabbage rolls! they used to serve the humus with pita bread, but today we got toast *disappointment*. i had a sampler plate with bbq rib, bbq bologna, cabbage roll, baked potato, salad, tabouly and humus dip w/ vegies. yummy! great change from burgers or pizza... http://www.freddiesbbq.com/index.html
what's different in your towns?

Bloomington's got a lot of great unique restaraunts, but the must go to one would have to be the Irish Lion. It's like an old Irish Pub. You can get mutton stew and leg of lamb and mead and of course Guiness, and they've got yards and half yards (and yes, many people get a yard of Guinness). Probably the best thing there is puff balls: cheesy fried mashed potatoes. I'm convinced they're laced with crack. Once you have one, you can't stop.
i'm sure bbq bologna is a wierd okie thing (never had it till i moved here), i can take it or leave it. mmmm.... puff balls sounds wonderful! i am a cheese and carb adict!
