When is the last time you lied?

I got busted yesterday with my son in the car- he should have been at school, so the neighbors think. I feel bad about lieing, but feel that it is best to conceal the truth to save his reputation in the neighborhood. They all love him and he cuts most of their grass. Anyway, I said he was sick like E, but I told my son that I feel bad and one lie is never enough. Anyone else wanna fess up to a lie?

Me & hubby have to lie all the time. That sounds bad, but we have to lie about his 2nd job because the ex would jack up the child support. Then the 2nd job wouldn't be worth it. But hubby is thinking about telling them, but he would still lie and say it was new. They would be more mad if they knew how long it has been.  We don't have much extra money it all just goes to our debt. But I don't know if she would see it that way.

aren't y'all afraid that she would investigate as to how long the job has actually been?  then she will make your lives a living hell (if she doesn't already) and make y'all pay retroactive.  here in oklahoma, every time we hire someone, we have to fill out a "new hire" form and mail it for child support purposes...

i lied to my aunt this morning when she called me at work.  i get all stressed out when she calls because i never know which mood she'll be in -- jekyll or hyde.  i'm not feeling well with the head cold and i really just didn't want to deal with her, so i faked that my voice was still raspy and i couldn't talk.    now she's gonna keep calling me to "see how i'm feeling".  i lie to avoid her...

so, are there not any kids in the neighborhood that are his age?  maybe they already know the situation.  don't feel bad about the situation, ruby.  everyone has their own backyard to take care of and no matter how "perfect" someone elses family situation seems, we don't know what goes on behind closed doors.

I don't think that she would unless he rmother gets on her. Her mother is a real piece of work. A primary reason that they got divorced. I worry but that's what I do. If we weren't on good terms than I would worry more. The reason hubby wants to spill is because the girl will not quit calling on Mon & Tues even though we told her the calls on our cell phone won't come through at my mom's. Yet another lie.

DS- no one is his age or goes to his school. So we will see. I know no one is perfect, but I just want him to be judged by how he acts around them and their kids. Might be a mistake, we will see!


 


Oh I have another one. I told the hubby we are getting 2000 from our taxes, not 3000! I am trying to rebuild our savings. We will see if he notices that I lied. He will not be mad, but I like to do things like this to keep us above sea level!

I have never told a lie...of course that is a lie, so the last time I lied was when I typed I wasnt lying and now my head hurts from deciphering this convuluted web I have weaved.
