Nonetheless, good morning all.


I think I am going to create my own theme day. I think I will spend the day doing "final" and "end" stuff. I am going to go throught the playlist and make a list. What else am I going to do today?

I got to get ready and go to work. The Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewage District is asking citizens to conserve water today, because we are supposed to get 2 inches of rain. They are afraid that 2 inches of rain will force them to dump sewage into Lake Michigan if the sewer tunnels get too full. And then get sued by the DNR again.


20 years it took them to complete the deep tunnel project. And its a remarkable failure.

Hello. I am here. I am already aggravated. It's a yucky day out, lots of rain. My throat feels like it is closing up and my tongue feels like it is 10x too big. I don't understand that because I'm having no other symptoms of anything.


I take it JD didn't get any snow.

don't tell us... now they want to pass "penny" taxes to resolve the problem?  at least that's what they push for in tulsa every time a penny tax is expired;  they find another reason to extend it -- "not a NEW tax, the SAME penny"  -- just pass it one more time.  the bridges, overpasses and expressways are still ghetto!

Hey everyone. It's a cool 46° here today. It's cloudy, but dry with no chance of rain in the forecast.

My new neighbors here at the office are moving in today.

Mrs Web will be back home late tonight.

seriously, i hope you don't have the flu.  maybe it's caused by whatever is pollinating in your neck of the woods.  cotton woods here whooped my @$$.  i'm still recovering!  hope you get over whatever it is, quick...

Aaaaaaaaaaah,

There's nothing better on a warm summer day than driving by lake Michigan and seeing (and SMELLING) that Huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge brown patch of water after a moderate rainfall.

All that money that we were taxed to build the (apparantly not) Deep (enough) Tunnel and NOW they ask us not to wash clothes or take showers when it rains. I actually heard someone from the MMSD suggest we turn the water off as we brush our teeth, because every little bit helps.

I think we should find the original GENIUSES behind the plans for the Deep Tunnel and use their million dollar homes for storing the overflow every spring and summer!

No known food allergies. Didn't have anything unusual last night and I didn't eat breakfast until I got to work and the throat thing started on the ride in. Annoying coworker thinks that it might be something that's in the air. Which I guess it could be. We got rain & wind and  something could have got stirred up.

Not yet. I'll have to stop over there in a couple days when things settle down. Right now, the big moving truck is there an what looks like 4-5 cars of friends/family helping them.

All I know so far is that they are moving back here from Minnesota. They are a younger couple and she is the daughter of one of the owners of the huge feedlot that makes our town smell so pretty on damp summer evenings. So for her, it is back "home".
