I learned how a 45 hour week can balloon into a 70 hour one real quickly too...I learned it the hard way also.

heck yea!


I spent one summer a few years back in an office near where summerfest shuttles loaded up and dropped people off. I spent that summer working until 10 oclock at night. I said NEVER AGAIN! and then by that september I was where I work now.

I guess I like it enough here....we are busy with quarter end- but I got jazz blaring, no one buggin me, I am on the clock.....the weather is crappy, so what the hey. here I be.

Yeah I know that feeling- pride!  That is why I love my job- there are a few real crunch times, but I get to shine when all is done!

I am salaried, but refuse to work over without taking the time another day and my boss is great about that. I worked 25 hours in two days last week and then was off Monday, so it worked out! I would not want a job where you work too much overtime and there is not extra money! Life is too short and we have to have some home time to be better workers!
