She was kind enough to drop off a little bit of money to help riggs towards revamping the studio!


I've only played slots 2 times! Lost about $25 each time in 7 or so minutes. I am SO done!

That's cool too! I love slot machines! Well when they at least let me play for awhile. One time me and hubby went and we played for like 4 hours on my $40 bucks. Hubby lost all his right away, but I played away and made some money. Nothing major but it was fun!

The first time I went, the guy next to me won like $300- so I said "congrats", but he said "this machine still has $200 of my money in it!"

That's cool! Does everyone have casino's near them?


We have Deadwood which is about 40 miles away. Lots of casino's there.


I can never win much, usually $50 to 100. at the most.

Sparky I was out in Deadwood in the 80's and all they had was like a big mining operation there to tour! Sounds like a COMPLETELY different world there!


Its been awhile since I've gone, but when it comes to gambling I like betting on horses. Me and a buddy used to head down to Arlington every once in awhile and do that.


Then dog racing came to Wisconsin- did that a few times, but its not as cool as horses. I'd be just as happy watching pigs chase oreo cookies on sticks (like at state fair) and bet on that. Horses you can really study, look at and compare. They keep Arlington spotless and neat, whereas the dog track often looks like a run down bus station or something.


I guess now I prefer to gamble on the stock market!

We have to leave the state to gamble. A lot of people around here go to Deadwood to gamble. There's also some riverboat casinos on the Missouri river at the East end of the state.

Personally, getting out of bed in the morning is enough of a gamble for me.

I don't hav eto go far to get to a casino. Pretty much just pick a direction. It may be an hour or so, but it's not long.

Well, if you call it entertainment, then winning is a bonus. You paid for a few hours of fun. Money you budgeted to fork over isnt as hard to lose.
