Funny thing D, I actually request that song alot! But not because of the bathroom incident.
I would have to say Eric Clapton - Wonderfull Tonight, it reminds me of when my wife and I first met. (Yes I know she will read this but I didn't say it for the brownie points).

this changes every few days for me....but for awhile I have really dug the Audioslave "Cochise". I still really dig Chris Cornell, and he so just rocks this song. It reminds me of the last MUST HAVE ON THE FIRST DAY ITS RELEASED cd that I HAD to have- SUPERUNKNOWN by Soundgarden. I am still shocked that such a laborious song like Black Hole Sun was the hit. Hated that song; it was like LETS TAKE SUMMER AND MAKE IT A TIRED BUMMER WITH THIS SONG. All else was brilliant on that cd. Fell on Black Days. great stuff.

I would say my favorite would have to be "Reminiscing" by the Little River band
I liked the melody and the harmonies. But I am a lyric guy and Graham Goble, the song writer, wrote the song imagining his grandparents when they were young and dating. Great romantic story song.
If I had to pick one . . . I just don't know. I know the rule was pick one anyway, but like JD, my favorite changes over time ony to come back to the top again one day.
Since I've been playing bass at church, there are a few praise and worship songs that I would call favorites now. One of those would be "The Potter's Hand" by Darlene Zschech.
I've got different favorites for different moods.
*Edit: Of course nothing compares to anything from Late Night Drive though. (Please place my extra points into my account.)
I enjoy music so much that I have a hard time picking a favorite. It really just depends on my mood & whether or not the song is being overplayed!
So here's a few: My new discovery from a theme day was Anastacia- Left Outside Alone. I really like the gritty tone of her voice once the song gets going. I tend to like songs that have some anger or strong emotion in it. But that's not always the rule. Cuz my guilty pleasure is Don Johnson's Heartbeat! LOL!
Big Pig- I Can't Break Away...This reminds me of the Bill & Ted Movies which is another guilty pleasure.
Badfinger- No Matter What...I'm not sure what the reason is, I just like it.
Real Life- Send Me An Angel....just always liked this song
The list could go on and on. What you would find is a variety of different types of music. I don't like to stick to one type which is why I love FFR. When I'm away from the computer is when I can get my harder music and some rap. Yes I like rap but I'm very picky.

My favorite instrumental is Santos & Johnny's Sleepwalk. It was a very haunting song for me for a long time, it seemed like every time I turned on the radio it would be playing.
My parents love this song, too. Ever heard Brian Setzer's version?

It is completely impossible to narrow it down, but I can name a few favorites off the top of my head:
"Daydream Believer", which was my very first record, and even after the success of Anne Murray's version, and several Monkees & solo Monkees concerts, I am nowhere NEAR sick of! (That in itself must say something big about the song!)
A couple of songs I think of as my theme songs, I guess: "Lady Strange" & Patty Smyth's "Heartache Heard Round the World"...
Plus another 3 thousand or so...
