FINALLY a new release worth checking out!

This weekend we'll be featuring the brand new album from Paul Simon called SURPRISE. Early reviews say it's really good.

He was a musical guest on SNL this past weekend, and featured a few songs from the new album.

I took some off days this year to go- really an excellent year!


first night- Elvis Costello and then BLUE OYSTER CULT (SO THERE!)


2nd night if I can score cheap tix (doubt it) tom petty/ pearl jam at the ampitheater


3rd night- Paul Simon (maybe) Go-Gos (perhaps)


forth night- Bauhaus /NIN (soo there, at least for bauhaus) Soul Asylum Ray Davies


night 5- Alice Cooper (maybe)


July 4th- PSYCHADELIC FURS (SOOO THERE FRONT ROW!!!)


July 5- Wilco (really want to go!)


then that friday- Steely Dan with Michael McDonald opening (SOO THERE!)


Bangles, Counting Crows and Goo Goo Dolls are there the last night, if I have a free ticket and am not completely broke, I might go.


A GREAT vacation in the home town!!!

They said he used a trendy new producer for the album to give it a fresher sound.

I think Simon is a great songwriter...particularly his lyrics.

 father / daughter ;now heres a tune that the masses can relate to , all 10 % that this mite apply to . the lyrics were ok but the music seems outta place .


 give it a C- .
