We nearly gave you the game last night!

I don't know WHAT Jenkins was thinking diving after that ball with two out in the ninth!

Even as he was running toward it I was yelling at the screen "DON'T DIVE! DON'T DIVE!"

The Phillies, one of the hottest teams in baseball...this was a good win for a young Brewer team.

Yeah, like I didn't even know you guys would be doing that. Shocker. It is more like you boys were lucky. We had plenty of chances to take both games and the only thing I can say is that they blew it. I didn't see much of either game, but when I was watching the Phillies scored and were playing well. I guess it is my fault they lost.


We shall see how your boys do today with the young one. By the way, that was a lovely block at the plate the other night. So sorry about Hardy's bruised knee. Not!


I guess it should be just about game time. I guess I have to go now. See your Brewers in Philly in a week. We will return the favor of a home sweep.


YOu know, the Phillies really helped your guys over the weekend with a sweep of the Reds. The least that they could have done to help was beat the Mets.

The Brewers came back from a four-run deficit today to overtake the Phillies, 5-4, at Miller Park and sweep the three-game series from what was the hottest team in the majors.

Closer Derrick Turnbow, who was removed from the game the previous evening with a save on the line, didn't need help this time in pitching the ninth to record his 13th save.

The Brewers, who have won four consecutive games, scored four runs in the seventh to overtake the Phillies. Red-hot Geoff Jenkins doubled in the last two runs, giving him 12 RBI in his last seven games.

The Phillies had won 13 of 14 games entering the series. The Brewers are now 16-7 at home.
