I remember one year at church camp . . . early in the week, I got a bunch of chigger bites. I had three bites right on my . . . um . . . . boy parts. Man that was a miserable few days. I wanted to scratch my itch SOOOOO bad!

This one time, We were shooting water balloons with a water balloon launcher and the balloon came back and hit me instead of flying away. It was all Sparky's fault. I had a bruise for 3 months and if you feel my leg where it hit, it is a little dented. Oh by the way that was like 6 years ago.

This one time, back when I was a technical writer, it was important and respectful to have a quiet atmosphere so we could concentrate. I realized that my coughing must have been a continual disturbance. So I picked up a bottle of Robotussen at the drug store, tried the recommended dosage, but kept on coughing. So I must have chugged 1/2 the bottle. I did stop coughing....


But man o man did the time/space continuim fluctuate. It seemed like it took a minute to simply raise the coffee mug to my lips, sip, put it down. And another minute to repeat. Everything seeemed sooooooo slooooooow, although I was pretty jacked up. I was spaced out.


I think they cut out the stuff that made that happen now....

That reminds me of one. Similar situation, I bought a bottle of cough syrup at the drug store, took the recommended dosage (as opposed to chugging the bottle!), and put the bottle in my drawer. Later in the day I could tell it had worn off, so I took the bottle out for another dose, and followed the directions. Step 1: Shake well. What they don't include is to make sure the cap is securely fastened before you shake. Cough syrup went everywhere. I ruined a keyboard, it soaked my shirt, it stained my bra, and I had the lovely fragrance of cherry menthol for the rest of the day, not to mention being sticky.

This isn't funny but thought that I would share. This one time I was at work and I did not feel well. I decided to go home. It was about lunchtime. I drove a crappy car where the seatbelt was a pain in the ass, but I always wore it except this time. I barely got on the road when I got pulled over. At the time they couldn't just nail you for your seatbelt so I got nailed for my cracked windshield too. This was the only time I was pulled over and I'm still pissed off about this. Then I get home (was living with my sister & her family) and the toilet is plugged. Spent a long time trying to fix that thing! By the time I was done with everything I tried to lay down but I was just pissed off and couldn't rest! I still think I would have had an easier time had a stayed at work! Geez!

I was seeing this girl Beth. We were driving one day somewhere in my car, and the news came on the radio that The Cars just broke up. She started crying. bad. Like a bit toooo much. I remember taking her home and then her calling me yelling like a week later because I didn't call.

This one time, at the KISS reunion tour, this weirdo drunk KISS ARMY guy, with KISS tatoos sat in front of us and kept on interupting our conversations with "KISS RULES! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO". I probably would have knocked him out if he wasn't just so completely drunk.


So he was so drunk he passed out in his seat and missed the entire show. I remember being one of the last folks to leave the arena with my brother, we were in no hurry, lets avoid the rush, and I remember looking back as this dude was still sleeping in his seat and the sherrifs were finally heading over there.

Sorta on this subject- I remember my sister teaching me to raise my fist up and scream " KISS" when I was just a "lil bit"! I didn't care. I just loved that it made her happy. Back then all I knew was that I liked their makeup and liked when they were on tv shows. Later I remember thinking " I liked ya better with your makeup on!"
