Hope everyone is having a good weekend. It ended up pretty nice here most of the day 80ish, a little windy but still better than a day at work. Bought little A a new pool, she ran through the sprinkler and bought a few plants for outside.

Hey AC!

Been HOT HOT HOT here, but with the AC on it's all good

I've been working on our redo of that studio and got lucky today. Home Depot had a great 12' x 11' plush beige carpet remnant in their clearance rack for only $58!!!! If I had bought the same carpet off the shelf it would have cost over $200!

So this is a working weekend for me now. Tearing out the old, installing the new.

The new furniture for the studio is due in on Tuesday, and a new mixing board that will allow us to take phone calls live on the air is expected in sometime this week.

By the time JD gets his lazy butt back to the studio it will be completely redone and VERY cool. Much more like a real studio.

WOO HOO!

Wow sound like you've been busy. I am glad you are able to do all that without a un-named person there spilling beer on the new carpet. (Sorry JD couldn't resist) I would be happy to come over and help! I like digging in and getting dirty for things like that. I don't know why but its fun.

Keep dreaming, we've seen two real pictures of JR, and I think the most current was something like 15 years ago.

I saw the storms on the radar going up that way. No, we had nothing here. Its too dry. Our humidity was only 12% today. No moisture to get anything started. Just wind, the wind has been blowing hard since yesterday morning. I've had just about enough of it for a while. Its even too windy to fily my kites.

Me too.

It is too windy to water the lawn, but the high wind, low humidity and 100 degree temps is killing stuff bad. The farmers are cutting hay just to try to save the tiny bit that is there.

This week will be closer to normal though - 80 for highs.

Doing well. I let the parrot fly around for a while, she'll get back on the computer while I'm at work tomorrow.

Well, I stopped taping my toe up this weekend because it didn't hurt and didn't look too bad. Now it's black and blue, so I'm taping it back up again. It still doesn't hurt though, so I forget to do anything about it.

At least we have air today!

A stool stepped out in front of me and made me stub my toe. Though, it's my middle toe, so I think it's a bit more than stubbed, maybe jammed.

It doesn't hurt any more. Of course it did when I did it, and a bit the next day, but now I can't really even feel it. But it does look kind of funky though.
