Hi Ruby

Yes, it has been a holiday and our kids are off school the whole of this week.

Hoever it's been a rather chilly day with showers, but we had a good weekend.

My sister's little girl is 3 tomorrow  but had a party on Saturday afternoon so we all went over  to my home town, Carlisle. (just about 100 miles from where I am now). After the party they and us went to the pet shop and they  bought 2 guines pigs -, a hutch and all the accessories for the little one (though i think my sister will be the cleaner upper) then went back to their house where we spent a pleasant evening. We stayed locally and then on Sunday went to a rugby league match 40 miles away fom there, where i used to live...then went back to carlisl and collected my mum from her work and took her out for a meal and drink before driving back home again last night.
