I can't get into specifics because its business related. But Rob is the type of person who'd go cube to cube to sing the new song he is writing, sing it at you, while meanwhile, the paperwork you are waiting on is sitting on his desk. There is a Rob the Knob everywhere. Trying out his beat-box skills as he walks through the office....

our rob the knob is just an embarrasing human being to be around- sort of shamelessly a 1/2 child. will come into the lunchroom to ask you a work related question. will go up to the VP and ask for medical advice. will one day die his hair orange. will ask you how to do his job. will try to interrupt your work to small talk about the movie he watched on tv last night......doesn't know what e-mail is for. will come down and announce stuff as if anyone cares. just really a knob. And a lot of folks have lost respect for the person who hired rob the knob, who we know regrets the descision now....

At my last job, our Rob the Knob was called ScanBoy. His only job was to scan in pictures, all day, every day. He enjoys being called ScanBoy, and has the maturity level of an 8 year old. I seriously don't think he has ever gotten laid. Some of the guys tried to take him out and reform him, to get him to grow up and experience life (I wouldn't be surprised if one of them bought him a hooker, for some reason they thought that would help). The last I heard, the last time they took him out, they took him to a strip club where he got drunk and puked on the stripper. He just has no ability to judge what is appropriate and what's not. I think the guys finally gave up on him just like everyone else.

I'm guessing that Ray must work alone. 


There's a Rob the Knob everywhere.  You'll find Rob driving 42 mph in a 65 zone.  Rob is the guy who works at the convenience store that can't make change without the help of the register.  Rob is that girl in front of you at McDonald's with 17 special order items.  Rob's the guy at the bar, paying in change. 


You know a Rob, Ray.  You just need to expand your definiton of "the office ".

We used to have a Rob. Then he was fired. Now the company must find a new Rob. Our Rob didn't follow up on orders or didn't even place an order when it was given to him. That's what he did to me. Didn't place an order for a week. When I called into the office to speak to him aobut it I was told he no longer worked there. I didn't get to yell at him.

I think they do get weeded out Ally. I am a firm believer that the bad seeds eventually weed themselves out. But in the interum, the dandiolines (sic holy cow) choke the oaks. sure they get poisoned and die, but there will be a new batch next years.


Americans are lucky. Even its butt-wipes somehow weasle their way into a well-oiled machine. Or else get the welfare. If this were China, they'd be shot. Something to think about...

you know who else is a knob, Jimmy Kimmel. He pretended to get bit by a snake and had paramedics ect, then come to find out he was just doing a Greys Anatomy Tribute show. OK, maybe I'm the Knob. I was watching it in bed and got up to see what the deal was and thats what I found. Damn  I am the knob. Good night again.
