I eBay. I've only put a few things up for sale, and there was a couple that didn't sell, so that discouraged me. But if I'm looking to order anything off of the internet, I usually check eBay first. And, I think buying on eBay is a bit more secure than some of those unknown retail websites, I've been screwed over by a couple of those, but never on eBay.

I purchase off of E-Bay all the time, I've only been burned once, just make sure you read their feedback fully. Some of the wierd collections I have e-bay is great for!

i've never sold anything on e-bay, but i have purchasd from there.  my brother had to cut his wife off of e-bay after he came back from a three month deployment to uzbekistan (spelling??)last year.  she would stay up late because she couldn't sleep without him home and just wandered through the vast e-bay doors.  she was like a kid in a toy store!  i'm glad we are still on dial up at home.  i don't have the patience to wait for pages to load, otherwise, i think i could easily be lured.

I love autographs, but prefer to get them myself.  It's more fun and plus that way, you can be SURE they're not fake.

So whose have you bought?

I would love to get them myself but I'm just not that lucky!

We haven't hung them up at this house so I'm not sure if I'll remember them all or which ones are actually authentic and not just a copy.

I have Alyssa Milano, Shannen Doherty, Holly Marie Combs and Rose McGowan. I also have the original girls cast photo and then the new girls cast. I wanted to get the guys of Charmed too but didn't have much luck. I quit looking shortly after. I have a pic of New Kids On The Block that they all signed. Hubby has Tiffany and some actress I can't remember her name right now. I may be forgetting something. I would have more if I had the money. Oh and hubby got Red Wings players Kirk Maltby, Kris Draper, and Darren McCarty for me.

That's cool.  Were the Bruce & Keith Richards ones expensive?

Again with my biggest WHO pet peeve, which I believe we've discussed before:  People misspell WHO members' names all of the time!  And I really don't know why that is.  Hey, JD - Steal the "H" from Entwistle & give it to Pete, Baby!

Speaking of The WHO, if all goes well tonight, we'll be seeing the supergroup WHO tribute band made up of Gary Cherone, Billy Sheehan, Paul Gilbert, and Dream Theater drummer, Mike Portnoy.  Wish me luck!

Wow - That's a lot!  I'll be seeing Kristine Sutherland at an autograph signing this weekend, if you're interested in getting a "Buffy'sMom" autograph.  It'd probably cost you $20 for an autographed photo, but she'll write it out however you ask, and I would be more than happy to set it up with you via personal e-mails if you'd like!

OK.  Here is the link to the show, so you can see the other people who are going to be there.  I've met Kristine, and she is a really nice classy lady.  http://www.chillertheatre.com/gt/gtc4.htm

I also buy from Ebay. most shot glasses, movies, Cds, things like that. I also got burned from a seller in new Jersey who we won a beautiful Mardi Gras shot glass for my Christmas prersent and he says he mailed it but he never did.  we lost the glass and the money.

I've bought 4 things from E-Bay:

2 mobile phones (from O2 online auctions - bargains they were too and very prompt delivery)

a Whitehaven Rugby League shirt

a carlisle United 7" single.

I would like to sell perhaps but I certainly don't want a Pay Pal account. That scares me...heard so many horror stories.

What I am spending a bit of time on from time to time is "Freecycle.com" you join a local Yahoo group and you offer stuff that you would other wise take to the tip or throw out...and can take other peoples offerings...a cool way to reduce junk going to the landfill...and the goods may ne perfectly ok, just surplus to folks' requirements...

It started in the States and is now in several other countries!!!

Pip I head about that Freecycle site on the Radio last week or someting sounds good, will have to check it out.

PS

Is PayPal dodgy then, I use it and have had no problems at all so far, It's a Ebay company so I thought it would be cool, isn't it?

I love my PayPal account and haven't had any problems. I use it for more than just eBay though.

Thanks for the Freecycle tip, Pip.

For anyone else that's interested, it looks like it's freecycle.org, instead of .com.

For all you Ebay junkies.  (including me)  I have another yet, auction site for you to check out.  It is all from Police Departments, like NYC, and Seattle who have property to get rid of.

Confiscated, or taken in for evidence etc.  I know someone who bought some jewelry from the site and brags what a great deal she got.  here the site.

Ultimo, I'm sure if there was anything you wanted, you could have it shipped to us then we could forward it to you. (As long as you pay the shipping, of course.)
