Little A was trying so hard to be a big girl, she came and grabbed my hand and said "pot". I got up and went with her, she made it almost all the way and couldn't hold it anymore. I felt so bad for her she was sad and ashamed. . I also felt sad for myself for having to clean it

She actually does really well for her age, I have seen kids at like 3 and 4 still not as "good" as she is.

I'd reward her for trying, tell her "hey that's alright, you'll make it next time...."

I tried to tell her it was ok and she just cried, actually more liked whined.

bear in the big blue house potty time dvd video helped really helped my baby.  and boys seem to be harder to potty train compared to girls.  it's like they just don't get it.  of course that "just don't get it" seems to be etched in the chromosomes somewhere...
