Tragedy in my family

Hello Everyone, as you can see from the topic tragedy has hit my family with weekend. My brother-n-law (wife's younger brother) was flying home from a business trip, he and his business partner and a pilot crashed into a local lake. http://www.heraldextra.com/content/view/182107/


They have not found anyone so far. Our families livies are on hold and seems like from the time on the tragedy until now is a dream 'night-mare' hoping all of us will wake up and see him again, laughing and loving his 4 little kids.

This is horrible, horrible news. I'm so sorry.

I suppose finding survivors is less and less likely but I'll pray right now that somehow, someway, they made it to safety.

Please keep us updated, and know that we'll all be thinking of you and your family!

Searchers Recover Pilot's Body From Lake

PROVO, Utah - Searchers on Monday recovered the body of a pilot whose plane crashed in Utah Lake during a storm last week with two other men aboard.


The body was found about a mile west of the harbor where search teams have been working since Friday. The single-engine turboprop crashed late Thursday on its final approach for landing at the Provo Municipal Airport, just east of the lake.


Utah County sheriff's Lt. Darren Gilbert said a searcher spotted what appeared to be an oil slick on the lake's surface Monday. The body of Blaine Pugmire of Springville, who would have turned 32 on Monday, was found in about 11 feet of water.


Still missing were passengers Harold "Les" McGuire, 35, of Highland and Ray Hooper, 35, of Mapleton

Thanks everyone for you 'T & P' it does mean alot. They finally found his body yesterday morning. We can finally make the funeral arrangements etc... again thank you. "Life is way to short" Hold fast to the Gospel and true that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world.

I got this email this am and it made me think of KD and the days they had to wait for answers:


 


Mary and Martha had sent their friend Jesus a message about the critical condition of their brother, Lazarus, and their urgent need for his help: "Lord, the one you love is very sick" (John 11:3). But instead of rushing off to Bethany, Jesus stayed where he was for two days before responding to Mary and Martha's plea. When he did arrive, he raised Lazarus from the dead in a magnificent display of his power.


Just as Mary and Martha struggled when Jesus answered their prayers for Lazarus in a time and way different from what they had expected, we get frustrated when the Lord delays in coming to us and answering our prayers.


As it did for the grieving sisters, two days (or two months or two years) of waiting can seem like an eternity to us. But in the midst of the "delay," God is not inactive. He is teaching us patience, perseverance, and faith and is planning to glorify himself in our circumstances. While we are waiting, he wants to cleanse our hearts and refocus us on Jesus. The Spirit always knows what will glorify God, and we can trust him when we're in the waiting room.
