I'm the same way with my work uniform, I'm out of it the second I the front door. Sometimes I even carry a change of clothes with me and change in the bathroom of the last stop on my route.

Of course, that's not "dressed up", but I just don't like being in uniform when I don't have to be.

Well, it's more of an afternoon job For the last year I've been running a courier route part time.

It's pretty nice, because even though it's part time it has good health insurance, and it pays very well, expecially since it's all tax-free (the mileage deduction completely wipes out the payrate, so at the end of the year it looks like I made nothing at my job).

I'm still running what's left of a commercial cleaning business I used to own too. My business partner and I shut it down, but there were two accounts that were just too lucrative to walk away from, so I still maintain those. But now i do the work myself. no employees

Well, unless you count my sister who has helped for the whole 11 years since we started it.

Now that would be wrong

The REALLY nice thing though is that since the route is tax-free, the earnings from the cleaning don't get taxed until about August or September.

See, I'm all about working the system

Truth is though, when the cleaning biz was really big and my online store was doing well, those were the best days ever. There was nothing like really being completely in charge of every single day of my life.

I've gotten a little complacent with this route. I need to get focused on a new business venture and stop working for the man.

JD doesn't work as cheaply as you think he does. He has a lot of demands. Big bowl of M&M's with all the brown ones removed. 11 bottles of spring water, chilled to exactly 38 degrees, and so on and so on.

I've been taking care of the MySpace site, so unless JR did something I don't know about, his sister isn't up there. Who did you think his sister was?

It took me 11 months to get Webs pictures into the album, and I'll have moved yours into it in less than a week!

Doesn't it seem WEBGUY should be the one who feels left behind? HMMM??? HMMM???
