It makes no sense! Down 100 one day, up nearly 200 the next day, down 100 the next day.
It's like investors have gone insane and they're starting to pull their money out of stocks because they heard a CEO has the sniffles and might be coming down with a cold.
Then the next day they're reinvesting because they heard he's feeling a little better.

I've been working off the idea that when the stock market tanks, or a particular stock tanks, continue to buy the stocks anyhow. I guess I am thinking for blue-chips here at least- your GE's, Microsofts etc...10 shares going up a dollar is less likely to occur than 100 shares going up a nickle.
