Hey-


Do you take any natural/ herbal supplements that you think work really well? Sometimes I have trouble sleeping, so last night I took some valarian. I was out like a light. Very effective. I take flax seed oil too-supposed to be good for heart & circulation. I also take a calcium supplement because I think milk is gross.


& while on the topic, what are some of your favorite spices to cook with. I could add thyme to just about anything and it makes it just that much better. I've taken a try at trying to cook some vegetarian dishes and Indian food, and cumin is absoltely important here. Really kicks what might really otherwise be bland into a satisfying meal.

I do not take any supplements. But spices are another story! I have about 50 (all alphabetized!)! I love thyme too and marjoram (sp?) It is great on mushrooms an other veggies. I have a rosemary tree in my yard I use for roasts and my hubby uses an assortment of them whenever he grills (almost every night!) He makes a rub mixture that he keeps in the fridge that he never makes the same twice.

I am an herbal freak.  I take about 40 pills a day, trying to stay younger.

CP do you have some favorites? a select group of like 5 or so that you wouldn't want to do without if you had to cut that number down?

I take something for memory, but I can't remember what it's called. then a prostate pill, extra vitamin c, a- B complex, gurana and calcium.
