Hopefully they don't have any software that traces where you are and what you are doing online.  How can listening to music get you in trouble??????  I know that doesn't bother my boss, but he surely wouldn't want me online posting and spending as much time doing that sort of thing.  


actually, I do spend way too much time posting and reading forum these days, it's quite addicting.  I should just listen to the music (and request occasionally), that would make me much more work productive!!


Now i am at home so it doesn't matter how long I am here... but as you see, back to the addiction of posting and reading.  I just can't stay away!!!

It is actually in the employee handbook that music cannot be played at your desk.  unreal, huh?

Unfortunately, this is not uncommon.  Whenever I've interviewed for a new position, that is one of the first questions asked.  Because that WILL make the difference of whether I take the job or not.  I've also been very lucky to have my own offices a lot throughout the years.  (With the exception of the record stores, which of course, had music playing constantly!)

We gotta get some of the local used record stores to pump us into their store instead of the local radio station.

I am lucky I sit kitty corner in a 2 woman office, with a girl 3 years younger than me, who thank GOD likes the same music as I do.  She often talks over her shoulder and asks me to request music from FFR.  I always have it loud enough for her to listen to it, and we both sing along to songs all day long.  (they call us the chicklettes.)  We are someday going to take our show on the the road...............    no one would come to see us but we say that to all the people who comment on our singing along to music.  Usually they are laughing.... not commenting.
