Need help with a song

My mom says I imagined this. I could swear that for some special, on MTV or something, Cinderella did a cover of Midnight Special. I can hear Tom Keifer singing it in my head.

Am I nuts? Am I remembering something that never happened? And if I'm not nuts, does anyone have any clue where I could find the song?

I too can hear it in my head, was it Cinderella or a sound alike? For some reason I want to say there was a video of the band in the back of an old pick up driving thru the country singin it?

I don't remember a video, but that doesn't mean there wasn't one. That could've also been Heartbreak Station. I don't remember the band playing in the back of a truck, but it's been so long since I've seen it, I could just be forgetting that part. I remember the train station, and I think the whole video was done in sepia or B&W.

But, I can hear the song in my head. Has any other 80's band done a cover of it?

Yeah, I've heard the CCR one. It's good, but it's not the same as the one I hear in my head.

Sorry molly All I found was the Van Morrison version and I also found one with Mark Knopfler of Dire Straits and Dave Edmunds.

I think I gave up on that one.



I have spent the better part of the afternoon searching Cinderella / Midnight Special everything and have not found a thing.


I put in a request for shelter.
