Humpity Hump Day!

Morning Bunnyman! I am getting ready to take the boy for a camp physical. Came looking for Ultimo- but no sign...

See you all in a bit!

Good day all. Even my cat didn't want to get out of bed this morning. I've already started out mad at the world. Is it Friday yet?

Good Morning, I started my New Year's diet yesterday, we'll see how it goes. I'm going for a walk now.

I wish you all the luck in your New Year's diet 5 and half months later.  I started one on 01/01/2006 and I lost 17 pounds.  I didn't keep doing it, and as of yesterday, I had put just about it all back.................   I wish I had it in me to walk every day.

Good luck Sparky!

If mine had only been for weight loss, I think I would have a lot harder time keeping my walking up. Since mine was more health related (Cholesterol) its easier for me to keep pushing myself to get out and walk. Once I get going, I always enjoy it. I hope to be able to stop the Niacin medicine and just keep it down with diet and exercise.

I was never one for walking on a regular basis, but now that I re-discovered the Glen by my house, I really look forward to it. Then Glen itself is only 3/4 of a mile long. But if I walk to the beggining of the park, instead of the shortcut, walk the Glen twice, and leave through the park gates, its close to 3 miles.

Thanks for the encouragement everyone!

I used to love jogging, but my knee is screwed up from playing basketball in HS. Now my heel is screwed up but I have been doing some stretches that seem to help a little. So walk walk walk!

Mz went on the elliptical machine last night and had no pain at all (though she did wear her brace the whole time). So if you have access to an elliptical machine or anything like that, that may be another option.

Hey Sparky!

i could dig that Turkey Lunch Meat out of the trash and send it to you! I lost almost 7 pounds in two days!

I bet there's enough for four sandwiches left in there!

Just say the word and I'll send it off to you! I'll send it UPS Ground so it has time to get even stronger and MORE effective!

Well, alright then. But don't blame me if you find yourself having trouble getting the weight off

I posted a comment in another thread and when I returned to the main page it didn't say "NEW" next to the thread.

I got all excited and thought maybe they set it up so your own comments don't show up as NEW, so I had to test it out, but it was just a fluke.

I'm very anal about those new things turning to the no face. I like to be able to see at a quick glance if there's new comments to read. So it's annoying when my own comments cause that NEW notification.

I did the same-lost 13lbs in 5 weeks - was delighted with that start...then put half of it back on again

I noticed that too and thought the same thing: Woo Hoo! No more new notification for my own post.

But it only does that once in a while. I thought computers were supposed to be consistent.

I know what you mean. I purposely click on those threads just so they show as read. And there's the times when I don't wait long enough to click off, so they STILL show as new.
