Fuzzy are you close?

We just received a memo that our Conshohocken PA Branch has closed due to flooding. Is Fuzzy ok?

Fuzzy is not too far from there. Fuzzy has been watching the water in the creek rise, overflow and come towards the house. Fuzzy knows the river won't be cresting until 11pm tonight. Fuzzy has had phone calls from friends and family throughout the day. Beware water.

The drinking water is contaminated and the firemen were around last night suggesting voluntary evacuations.

Does anyone know if fuzzies float?

I am waiting for Noah to swing by on the ark. I was hoping to catch a ride.

I should be okay. I may just be high enough. We will see.

We had a similar situation last October. I have pictures of the destroyed park somewhere around here. I thought if I made it through October I should be fine other wise. But we shall see because they say it will be worse. I think the river is set to crest about 20 feet above flood stage. Who knows what the creek will do.

I know people in that branch and the first person I was worried about was you! Tells me who I like and who I don't!

Might be a good idea to bottle as much water as possible and also have a sharp object like an axe or something handy. You just never know but its better to be safe than sorry.

I don't drink the water anyway, but wouldn't you know that my last case of water is in the fridge. I hate when that happens. I have a soccer game tonight, so when I go down there I will be stopping at Costco for water. It will be fine.

I am thankful for your concerns Sparky.

I am about a half an hour, maybe 40 minutes from Conshohocken. It depends which way you go. They are probably at a lower elevation right near the river.

JD - I am going to have to go ahead and say no, I don't have one of those. Besides, it isn't raining. It poured through the early morning hours (it was still raining when I went to bed at 4am), but the sun has been out since at least 8am. I know that because I had a phone call at 8:20am. So, it is sunny, hot, humid and the water is on the rise. (No, not a bad moon on the rise, just the water.)

If you are going to the ball game and it is going to rain, yes, the hat can be handy. I suppose if you were working out in the yard on a day like this, it may help too.

Glad you are still ok Fuzzy. It probably takes a Fuzzy a looong time to dry out once wet.

I have a friend that wears one of those umbrella hats at kiting events.

Thanks Web. I still wish I could put this excess water into tanker trucks and send it out there to the farmers.
