I'm in the process of uploading our mid-year CD Library update.

It's going to take 2 hours, so it may not be available completely until after 7 PM Central Time.

Changes you'll notice are:

We now have 100 CD's per page, so there's only about 46 pages. Not sure I like this change, next time we might go back to 50 per page.

Color scheme is more basic, no funky background colors. Makes it easier to read.

About 400 new CD's are on the list from the last update in January.

The CD cover images have been fixed so they are not so blurry, although they are still pretty small because we don't want to pay for more server space to host the bigger images (we're really cheap around here).

holy crap. love it. very well set up. good use of white space. not sooo much like looking through a card-catelog on a library computer anymore. very nice. like the details links too. very nice.

I was wondering how long before someone asked that question

I used to round out my CD collection by buying big lots on ebay. Someone would sell me 50 or 60 titles for $100, and there'd always be a few rap ones in there. I've never played them even once, but I figured I might as well include them when I transferred all my music to DVD and sold the CD's.

We've added a LOT more new CD's (particularly CURRENT ones) so after only four months I decided to update the CD Library again.  I think there's another 400 new CD's on there!

So I just wanted to let everyone know that as of March 2'nd this is the COMPLETE CD Listing for our station.

Actually, I bought new CD's from BECK, the RECANTEURS and JOSH KELLEY as the list was updating, so it's ALMOST complete

I would LOVE too. But it may be YEARS.

I bought a new computer last fall and moved everything to it. Things were going great, then the computer crashed.

I was able to save the data of the CD collection, but the entire image file was lost.

Now, as I get time, I have to sit and update the images on about 5300 CD's. Each one takes about half a minute to do and it's very boring. So I only get maybe 20 done everytime I think to play with it.

Maybe this is something we should assign to another owner. Web? Where'd you go Web? biggrin.gif

Can you really assign tasks to owners? Is there a way I could work on the album cover project for the covers that show when the songs play?
