good mornin evry 1 .      84 here with more on the way .  just gonna take it easy today , no laundry , no dishes  , no errands . lay-zeee is the word.

 

A shop vac on the drain hose?

That's a good idea . . . I think I want to replace it though, it's been there 10 years and is kinda gunky inside. If replacing it will make it good for another 10 years, I'll be happy. If I can't get a new one down through the wall, then I'll see what I can do to clean the old one out inside.

That is a really good idea though

goodmornin- didn't make it to the lakefront this mornin for the sunrise, because its overcast and looks like rain, like riggs said. I will one of these mornings tho. If I have pics left over on the summerfest camera, I'll take some.

I think I am gonna have a dave/sparky kinda of day. THE CLEANIN IS DONE, so I get to be LAZY! but I might just head on out and hit the town!

Good day all! I feel so vibrant and alive today! I woke up just before 10, supported some local farmers and growers at the farmer's market, got some produce and a small rose plant (supposedly I can grow it indoors, we'll see), supported my grocery co-op (I can say "my", I became a member last week) and bought some fruit leather (kind of like an all natural thick fruit roll up), worked out at the Y and did really well, took the recycling in, and now I'm eating a turkey sandwich, green onion and yogurt chips, and black cherry yogurt with cranberry juice. I think I'll play on the computer for a little bit, then mop the kitchen floor, then take a shower. Then I'll probably sit outside and work on the quilt I'm sewing. Life is good.

wow mo- that's what the old air-strip is now? a concert venue??

lol did them 16 or however-many folks ever get their planes outta there?

I am shocked Huey didn't get booked at the summerfest for tomorrow night, being that they are so close!

hello all! just checking in. i am enjoying myself. done some shopping,card-making, and reading. hubby has gone fishing 2 days but got nothing the 2nd day. we have had a lot of t-storms which isn't helping. i hope all is well with you guys. trying to read some posts but dial-up is well dial- up! have we heard from Fuzzy with all the flooding going on?

OK- I know I replied here for JD! Where did it go? I was here but had to get my butt outside before it hit 100! I planted rose bushes that have been sitting outside since May! I finished the laundry and vacummed. Then I fell asleep trying to get E too- she never did!

I talked to Fuzzy last night for a while. She's fine. The water didn't get up to her house. Her mom had to have surgery so Fuzzy was spending a couple days at her mom's house to help her after getting home from the hospital.

It sounded like the surgery went fine and the recovery can begin.
