I think the least he could do is at least TRY to host the jazz show....But I've got some non-jazz stuff in the archive too.....he won't know what to select to play. Sure you might get some Frank Sinatra,,,,,but you might get Voidoids too.........Richard Hell.....

I told him to have a special show later than usual. Something off the wall and crazy. That way he can still do something most of the day and make us all happy that night.

Hey JD . . .

Sunday night, you played the "Frankenstein" song. I've always liked that song. During your show, I searched for it and saw it was in the request list. This week, I was going to request it and it was not found.

During your show, does a different request list show up? How hard would it be be make tha song available in the regular list?

I'm pretty sure web that any song I play gets automatically added to the request list, but then gets purged by riggs on monday because most of the stuff is jazz. he just goes through my showlist in the recently played cue and deletes.


That would be a good song to have on the request list regularly tho!

yea I like that one a lot too. when I was a kid I had this '45 that was supposed to be bert and ernie and grover singin the ABC's- but it was mislabeled, and it was actually frankenstein. that kinda blew my little 2 yr old mind!
