Uhh.... What do you mean by "Gilby just wants Toby" ?
She says that he is totally gay and I am starting to think that may be true.
Uh, no. I know Gilby & he is not gay. He is a happily married straight man.

My review last night. Toby had the only song I would want to ever hear again. And he does make it fun to watch and listen to. He was my favorite last night. Storm gotta go tonight!!
Actually I thought Dilana was the worst of the evening! Even with her bad leg, she was uninspired...I would not be surprised to see both ladies gone tonite. Storm was good I thought, very energetic, but I don't wanna see her sing any more I wanna go see her at a strip club performing there (with those crazy moves!).
Toby was by far the best, great cover and great original. Lukas did an OK cover but I thought his original showed us again that this is not his type of music (the proposed Supernova music that is).
Magni was great on the cover, and his original was good, but just not memerable.
I am chalking this whole thing up to show manipulation, it's all in how the show want's you to see things. A few weeks ago when Dilana had it in the bag and the show went uh oh! We gotta make them hate Dilana so they don't think she has allready won. I agree she hasn't performed well lately but I think she is broken now. Now I really dispised Yes Sir no Sir Toby but he did very well last night.

Hey I actually watched the show last night when I got home! Woo Hoo! Ok here's my :
You know I love Lukas but I wasn't all that impressed with his performance last night. I really didn't like his cover. His original was better and I guess I could hear it on the radio. There are many songs that just repeat the same thing over & over.
Magni sounded ok, but I felt that while performing his cover- that his movements were lame. I kept wanting to see him get into it more. Many times I just felt like he was sashaying around.
Sorry but I like Toby a lot. He is just fun to watch and his voice is nice sounding.
I still Like Dilana but didn't really care for her performances last night. It does appear that she is losing it though. And don't ya just love how the camera kept going to her for her reactions to everything? She seemed a little paranoid, but then again that may be what they want us to see.
Storm was better I thought, but not great. Her movements make me think she is trying to be something that she isn't. Hubby just wants to look at her! LOL!

I was just sick of hearing Storm say, Dave Navaro ladies and Gentlemen, Dave Navaro, Look everyone Dave Navaro! Yes we know who he is and what he has to offer, what about you?

OK, I was avoiding this thread like the plague, because I had last night's on the hard drive, because we weren't home, because we drove an hour and a half to see the Bulletboys in concert, only to find out that the band had canceled just a few hours before! Yes folks, it was a fun-filled night of wasting gas... And I'd put mascara on and everything!
So yeah, the show…
First of all, Lukas should be shot for that performance of “Livin’ on a Prayer.” It was hideous, horrendous, and well, sautéed in wrong sauce, if you will.
I liked Storm’s original song, and she performed it well, and damn, her boobs looked good all pushed up for it! (This is the part where I usually say what a shame about all those nasty-ass tattoos, but I will spare you… ) She did a nice job on “Wish You Were Here.” God, I love that song… It was interesting to see Jason Newstead so touched that he cried. My husband said maybe he was thinking of his Voivod bandmate who died…
I usually like Magni, but found his performances to be pretty lackluster.
Dilana was OK – nothing great. Amusing though that Gilby would comment on her lyrics, though. As if he is some great songwriter! Anyway…
Can you believe what Lukas did to JBJ’s masterpiece?
I’m glad Storm got to stay for one more episode, and showcase her original.
Toby’s original was good – I wasn’t blown away by the others’.
So that’s my humble take. (Grungy unhappy can’t-sing version of “Livin’ on a Prayer”…. Grumble grumble….)

Finally they got rid of Storm...if they all back her on her recording , isn't that even better than winning the competition where you are the lead singer rather than "You?" The comptatition is Toby's to loose at this point!
LS- I love Lukas but I totally agree with you on the Bon Jovi song. It was sheer torture! Actually from what I read we pretty much had the same reaction to the performance episode! LOL!
results show- I believe Storm knew show was going. I did like her performance though.
I was yelling at Lukas for doing his original again, but in the end was singing it. I think it was better the second time.
Always love watching Toby perform. Nice recognizing Steve Irwin. Oh and I told hubby "hey I like the guys with the eyeliner! What does that say about me?" For the record hubby would never do that.
Dilana started out this competition doing very well, but it doesn't seem like she has stepped it up any. I still like her, but she kinda plateaued.

I was so glad to see Storm leave. I think the next to go should be Magni, Lucas, Dilana, and Toby should win (in that order). I love Dilana but she has almost gone stale. I loved her in the beginning and I will love her forever but I just do not think that she is right for the band. I do think that they made her look bad so that the public would not like her anymore since they knew they would never chose her. However, you cannot name one RockStar that has not made an ass of themselves or others in the public eye at some point in their career. That is RockStar are known for..... Give me a break!!!! Anyway, I do believe Toby is clearly the winner!!! I agree that it was awesome that he dedicated his performance to Steve Irwin!!!! It also bought into the public's soft side and made them love him even more than before!!!!

For the record hubby would never do that. :laughing My husband looks great in eyeliner, although not really a reason to wear it anymore - most guys do. Eyeliner is my favorite part of make-up anyway. When magazines ask what the one thing you couldn't live without is - well, I could live without any if need be, but eyeliner is the main necessity in my book.

So how did I love Dilana's version of "Roxanne" ? Let me count the ways....
Guess this thing is finally ending this week, huh?

I don't think they'd choose a girl either, but I loved that performance.

I thought The House Band was opening......guess that fell apart just like 1/3 of the "supersatrs" that were part of the band.....Jason got out before the ship sank!

Hey LS-Thanks for the article. I was curious to know how they performed.
I only saw some of their interview after the performance on TV. I just don't like Rossi as a singer, performer, or a personality. I'm sorry for Gilby that this venture didn't work out. Sounds like maybe they're partying more than they're rehearsing.
Vocals sound pretty good once they go through ProTools!
