So I told my daughter to add Freeze Frame radio to her My Space "friends" list, and she did.  Now as you see she is now a friend of yours too!!


Her ID is Kaisha, and right now I can see her on your MySpace.com on page 4 of your friends. And you guys can see her page and vice versa.  I can not see my daughter's page because she has it blocked for anyone to see it, unless you have been added to her friends.  So JR, can you read it for content and let me know what she is doing? 


I wish I had a MySpace user name and profile, but from what my daughter tells me, it is for "a more youthful group".....  basically she is saying, "Mom, you are too old to be on MySpace.com", or "I will be really embarrassed to be your daughter, if I find a profile made up by you on MySpace." 


So I can't be your friend on MySpace, I was told not to add my profile to MySpace.....


But that MySpace.com website has really taken off. It is so popular.  I know you really have to be careful what you put on there about yourself, and there are people who are preditors using the site for their own illegal use.


I am very proud that you guys have a whopping 407 "wow"  friends on your page, and that was a great idea to add yourself to MySpace!!!  And that number is just going to get greater and greater.

it has taken off like gangbusters!  A couple of sundays ago we were thinking we were going to hit 150 friends, and by end of night it was nearly 200!

Darlene,

First, yes, you're daughter IS very beatiful (you mentioned that in the other myspace thread), she does look a lot like you and that is a compliment. But JD and I were already talking the other day about how shocked we both were that you had a daughter that age. Judging from the photo we saw of you we were guessing you to be in your mid 20's or so!

I actually felt the same way about MySpace at first (being for young un's), but the truth is anyone can go on there, as long as you're being honest about your age I don't think you have to feel bad about it. Tell you're daughter she should be proud of you and GLAD to add you as a friend! It's not like you'd be on there to meet guys! It would just be a networking things.

You're right, our page has taken off, and I'm loving it! The traffic we are getting on our website has exploded! Every day is about 300% of it's NORMAL traffic! And our tracking software shows me that most of it is coming from MySpace.

Beyond that, we're now getting about 10 to 15 requests per day to add artists to our list and a bunch of them are sending us CD's.

We've even made some connections with little record companies that want to keep us in the loop with what they've got coming out.

It's a real networking gold mine that quite honestly I would have not bothered with if it werent' for Mz taking the time to set up the page and my sister yelling at me to do something with it

Actually Woo,

I was spending the entire day leaving a message for EVERYONE, but when I got to about the 200'th message it said I reached my limit for the day!

I didn't even know they had a limit.

But I'm gonna try to leave like 100 messages a day at least because that's what really drives people to the site, they see the banner ad and check it out.
