Well, I'll tell you this much. The real JR was born in 68, which makes me way older than I feel and is just crazy stupid when you consider the way I act.
But JEREMY RIGGS was born about 10 years ago when a friend and I talked about needing aliases. I pointed out that the best aliases always have the same initials as the actual person, so it's easier to remember the name you made up.
She picked Tammy Beaumont and I took Jeremy Riggs. Little did I know that six years later I'd start an online radio station and put my alias to good use.
The scary thing is I've gotten mail addressed to Jeremy Riggs and on occassion I've slipped and introduced myself to people as Jeremy.
When I talk to people about JD I almost ALWAYS refer to him as JD or Jazz Doctor, almost never using his real name anymore.
I'm quite certain that within 5 years I'll be clinically insane.
