Heh, yep - I'm at home with the laptop - can't listen to the music, but I'm just lounging around with the cats watching TV when I should be reading or doing something constructive around the house - oh well... that's what tomorrow's for, right? And I'm on vacation next week! YEAAA! Can't wait for Busch Gardens!!!

I figured, given my history of disappearances, I was exempt from vacation submissions!

No big plans next week - going to Busch Gardens because we're amusement park fanatics and later in the week we're making our way up north to go to a family reunion on my mom's behalf (she ran it every year). It's more of a geneaological thing, not an immediate family-type reunion. Honestly, it's probably going to be sympathy overload... the memorial service we never had because it was in my mom's will to have a party to celebrate her life, not a funeral... ugh.

Well I hope you have a safe trip. Sorry you have to go the family thing, but sometimes when you dread those things they turn out ok.

We are amusement park people too! E is right with us- at 3 she rode water rides that I could not believe she got on. And she was mad that there were several rides she could not go on! At White Water, she rode the 100-Meter Splash head-first racing slide! By herself and did not even blink!

Yep - I never would have thought it but 3 seems to be the magic age - that was when my tyke could get on her first rollercoaster at Hershey. She got off the ride, ran to my mom and said "I want to ride it again!!" at which point a woman just across the bench looked at her two kids (around 8 and 10) and said "Look - SHE rode it!"

But she doesn't do haunted house... not yet anyway.

Man, I love Busch Gardens! We're not far from Cedar Pointe, I keep telling my hubby we've got to go!

You HAVE to go to Cedar PArk MZ! It is truly the best park I have been to- not that I have been to that many, but probably at fifteen different parks, that one is for the serious rider!

It depends on my hubby's mood. He wouldn't ride the water rides, that's for sure.

Cedar Point is about a day's drive away, we'd have to get a couple nights at a hotel.
